Protect floors and finishes, check walls and floors against the drawing, mark level lines.
This cabinet installer job in Edmonton means installing the kitchens, closets and vanities we build, in clients' homes across Edmonton and Alberta.

Boreal was started by an installer, so this role matters to us. You'll install cabinetry we built in our own shop: kitchens, walk-in closets, vanities, built-ins and sliding doors. Typical installs take 2 to 8 days.
You'll be the person in the client's home. Protecting floors, cleaning up and explaining what you're doing count as much as getting the reveals right.
If you've been looking for kitchen installer jobs or finish carpenter jobs in Edmonton where the cabinets arrive square and the drawings are right, this is it.
Protect floors and finishes, check walls and floors against the drawing, mark level lines.
Set, level, shim and fasten base, wall and tall cabinets; scribe fillers and panels to walls.
Adjust doors and drawers, install handles, toe kicks, crown and light rail.
Leave openings for plumbers and electricians, coordinate countertop templating.
Fit appliance panels and help set built-in appliances where needed.
Clean up, walk the client through the job, write down any deficiencies.
Two or more years installing cabinets, millwork or finish carpentry. Show us photos of your installs.

A well-kept tool kit and a vehicle for site days.
Experience installing laminate or butcher block tops.
Willing to travel for projects outside Edmonton occasionally.
Competitive, discussed at interview, based on your experience and what you can show us.
CNC, edge-bander and proper tools. Egger, Blum and Fenix NTM, not bargain board.
Four to five people. Your work is seen, and your ideas get tried.
We're growing in Alberta. People who start with us are the ones who'll lead crews and projects later.
Attach your resume and photos of installs you've done. Tell us whether you have your own tools and vehicle.
