Andrii Polianko
Owner and lead specialist. Checks every measure and every drawing before production and is on site for the tricky installs.
Boreal Kitchens is a small Edmonton cabinet company started by a kitchen installer. We design, build and install custom cabinetry ourselves, and we pick up the phone.

Boreal started on the installation side of the business. Andrii Polianko spent more than 15 years installing kitchens in Ukraine and across Europe, first as a specialist on other companies' crews. Installing someone else's cabinets teaches you quickly what goes wrong: boxes that are out of square, doors that sag after a year, drawings that don't match the room.
In 2015 he opened his own company and started building the cabinets as well as installing them. That is where the habits you'll see at Boreal come from: European board and hardware, careful measuring, and a drawing that the installer actually checks before anything is cut.
In August 2022 Andrii moved the business to Edmonton and opened Boreal Kitchens and Cabinetry. For the first stretch we also worked as a subcontractor for other Alberta companies. Today Boreal Kitchens in Edmonton builds and installs under its own name, and we take on custom cabinets across Alberta.
Fifteen-plus years fitting kitchens in Ukraine and Europe. Hundreds of rooms, every kind of wall that isn't straight.
Andrii starts his own cabinet company, building as well as installing, on European board and hardware.
Boreal Kitchens & Cabinetry opens in Edmonton. Early work includes subcontract installs for other Alberta firms.
Kitchens, walk-in closets, vanities and built-ins for homeowners, designers and builders across Alberta.
Every box and door starts as a full sheet. Parts are cut and drilled on our own CNC from the same drawing you approved, so hinge holes, shelf pins and drawer positions land where the design says they should.
Edges are banded with glue-line control, then boxes are assembled, checked for square and labelled by room and position before they leave for site.
