What the warranty covers

Boxes are covered for 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship: delamination, failed joints, shelves that sag under normal loads. Countertops we supply are covered for 5 years. Blum hinges, runners and lift systems carry a 10-year warranty. Our installation (levelling, fastening, door and drawer adjustment) is covered for 2 years.

The warranty doesn't cover damage from water leaks, misuse, or changes made by others. Full terms are in your contract and on our warranty page.

How to choose a cabinet maker in Edmonton: questions to ask

01How do I check a cabinet company's business licence in Edmonton?+

Ask for the licence number and check it with the City of Edmonton. Any company working in your home should also show a current CGL insurance certificate without hesitation. Ours: Edmonton licence 9919234, $2M CGL.

02Does a contractor need WCB coverage in Alberta?+

Most contractors with workers must have WCB Alberta coverage. If they don't, an injury on your property can become your problem. Ask for a WCB clearance letter.

03Who builds the cabinets, and where?+

Some companies resell imported boxes. That isn't wrong, but you should know. We build ours in Edmonton on our own CNC and edge-bander.

04What should a kitchen cabinet warranty cover?+

Get separate terms for boxes, hardware, countertops and installation. Vague promises like a lifetime warranty without details are worth little.

05How much deposit should a cabinet company ask for?+

Avoid paying most of the price before production. We use 30% at signing, 40% before delivery and install, 30% on completion.

06Who handles plumbing, electrical and gas?+

These need licensed trades and, often, permits. Ask who does them and who pulls the permit. We coordinate licensed partners.
