Many Medicine Hat kitchens from the 1970s to 1990s have a closed U-shape and short uppers. We redesign them with cabinets to the ceiling, drawers in place of base doors and an island where the room allows. In bright south-facing rooms we steer toward matte Fenix NTM or laminate that hold colour. Cabinets run from about $380 per linear foot in melamine to $820 in solid wood (CAD, before GST), with most kitchens between $20,000 and $60,000+, plus travel quoted individually.
