Newer Spruce Grove kitchens often have standard 30-inch uppers under a 9-foot ceiling, a small island and thin shelves. We take uppers to the ceiling, enlarge the island with deep drawers and add a pantry wall. In older bungalows, we open up closed kitchens and plan around existing plumbing. Cabinets run from about $380 per linear foot in melamine to $820 in solid wood, with most kitchens between $20,000 and $60,000+ (CAD, before GST).
Spruce Grove, west of Edmonton along Highway 16A, has grown quickly, and many homes there are relatively new. Neighbourhoods like Harvest Ridge and Greenbury are mostly recent builds with open plans and builder-grade cabinetry, while older parts of the city have 1970s to 1990s bungalows and split-levels. Around the city are acreages in Parkland County.

Kitchen cabinet styles, and what each costs
Flat panel kitchen cabinets
Slab doors in Egger or Uniboard melamine, or thermofoil. The usual choice for modern kitchen cabinets in Edmonton and for European kitchen cabinets in Edmonton condos and new builds: hard-wearing, easy to clean, many woodgrains and colours.
$380–$430 / lin. ft
Shaker kitchen cabinets (painted MDF)
Five-piece shaker kitchen cabinets in Edmonton homes are machined from MDF, then sprayed. The classic choice, in any colour you want.
About $560 / lin. ft
Wood veneer or solid wood
Oak, walnut and other species for high end kitchen cabinets in Edmonton. Veneer keeps grain consistent on large doors; solid wood suits framed and profiled styles.
$680–$820 / lin. ft
Fenix NTM matte
Super-matte laminate that resists fingerprints and lets fine scratches be repaired with heat. Great for handle-less kitchens.
About $760 / lin. ft

Built for Edmonton homes
Kitchens, closets and vanities we designed, built and installed ourselves.
01My home is fairly new. Should I replace or modify the cabinets?+
It depends on the condition of the boxes and what you want to change. If construction is sound, modifications or refacing (about 40 to 60 percent of new cabinets) can give you a different kitchen with less disruption. We will give you options after the measure.
02Do you work on Parkland County acreages?+
Yes. We measure and install on acreages around Spruce Grove the same way we do in town.
03Can you build basement cabinetry?+
Yes: bars, media walls and storage. We do not do framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical or flooring, so your contractor gets the space ready and we fit our work after.
