In inner-city infills we often work with long single-wall or galley kitchens under tall ceilings, so we plan stacked uppers or full-height pantry walls to use the height. In suburban two-storeys the usual job is replacing a builder kitchen with a larger island, a proper pantry wall and panel-ready appliances. Kitchen cabinets run from about $380 per linear foot in melamine to $820 in solid wood (CAD, before GST), and most kitchens land between $20,000 and $60,000+. Travel from Edmonton is quoted separately, and the final price is set after the on-site measure.
Calgary has every kind of house: post-war bungalows and early infills in inner-city areas like Bridgeland and Inglewood, large 1990s and 2000s two-storeys in the northwest and south suburbs, and new builds in lake and edge communities such as Mahogany. Inner-city infills tend to be narrow, with long galley or single-wall kitchens and tall ceilings. Suburban homes usually have an open kitchen, a walk-in pantry and a primary suite with a walk-in closet that came with wire shelving.

Because you deal with the people who design, cut and install your cabinets. We build on our own CNC and edge-banding machines with Egger and Uniboard panels and Blum hardware, and the same crew that built it puts it in. Travel is quoted openly so you can compare it fairly with local quotes.
Travel is quoted individually for each project and listed separately on the quote. It depends on how many trips the job needs and how long the crew stays. You will see the full number before you sign.
Panel-based boxes and doors (melamine, thermofoil, painted MDF, Fenix NTM, veneer on a stable core) move very little with humidity. Solid wood doors can still work, but we will talk through the trade-offs during design.
